�� What Is a Double Ferrule Fitting?
Double ferrule compression fittings consist of four main components:
- Body – the main housing
- Front Ferrule – bites into the tubing to create a seal
- Back Ferrule – clamps the tube and provides holding power
- Nut – tightens the ferrules and compresses them to form the seal
�� These are mechanically sealed fittings — no welding or soldering is needed.
